This deal doesn’t include checked luggage, but you can add a 23 kg bag on the airline’s website for €135 both ways. Aer Lingus uses Airbus A321neo and Airbus A330 planes on their transatlantic routes. You can expect personal video screens in all seats on both planes. Flying from Dublin comes with the additional benefit of US border preclearance, meaning you clear US immigration in Ireland and land in the US as a domestic passenger.

Better Customer Service
In case any problems like delays, cancellations or missed connections arise, you can communicate directly with the airline. The airline has to take care of you because you have a contract with them.

You also depend on your OTA to forward information like flight changes instead of receiving them directly from the airline.
